What the Heck?

Well its three weeks into it and I think we are doing pretty well, with “The Gathering” that is. We are three weeks into a four week study called “What the Heck?”. We have asked the questions: 1) What the Heck is Community? 2) What the Heck is Church? 3) What the Heck is Worship? This week will be our last “What the Heck?”. Perry R. will tell us “What the heck is THE WAY?”

Four the first couple of weeks we met on Mark and Lauren’s back deck, which was cool (cool in a sense of hip, as is yeah or groovy), but it was not cool, as in 58 degrees. It is July in the deep south and it was getting hot, but we liked the outdoorsy feeling from being out side. So we moved our location to another church member’s yard where they have a gazebo. It was a good thing too, we had a good down pour (rain) during our meeting time. It was cool to have Michael P. talking about worship and God providing a much needed rain at the same time. Good stuff!!
